1. Who We Are
LiveAutoParts is a trade name of Priona Global INC ("LiveAutoParts", "we", "us", "our"), 3000 Marcus Avenue, Ste 1E11, New Hyde Park, NY 11042, USA. We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
We accept orders from customers in the United States and Canada only. This policy is written for those customers. We do not target or market to individuals in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- ZIP or postal code, and a delivery address when you order
2.2 Vehicle and request information
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Year, make and model
- The part you need, and any notes you give us about the fault or the vehicle
- Photographs you send us of a part or vehicle
2.3 Communications
- Call recordings, where permitted by law — see Section 8
- SMS and email correspondence
- Chat and support messages
2.4 Technical and usage information
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser and device type
- Pages viewed, referring site, and how you reached us
We do not ask for and do not want government identification numbers, or any health, biometric or precise-location data. Please do not send them to us.
Payment details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To source the part you asked for, and to prepare and send your quotation
- To contact you about your request by phone, SMS or email
- To verify part compatibility against your VIN and vehicle details
- To process your order, arrange delivery, and handle returns, warranty claims and refunds
- To keep a record of your order in case of a later dispute or warranty claim
- For fraud prevention and quality assurance
- To measure how our website and advertising perform
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
4. VIN Information
Your VIN is used to identify the exact vehicle specification so we can confirm a part fits. VINs may be decoded through third-party services, including government and manufacturer databases.
5. Who We Share It With
We share personal information only as needed to run the business:
- Suppliers and recyclers who source and ship your part — they receive what is needed to locate the part and deliver it.
- Carriers and freight partners, for delivery and for damage claims.
- Service providers that operate our systems: website hosting, our CRM, email and SMS delivery, call tracking, and analytics.
- Payment processors, to take payment and to handle refunds and disputes.
- Advertising platforms such as Google, in aggregate or hashed form, to measure advertising performance.
- Professional advisers, or authorities, where required by law, subpoena or legal process, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep the site working and remember your preferences;
- understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it;
- measure whether our advertising is working, and attribute enquiries to their source.
We currently use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. These set cookies when you visit.
How to control this. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which will stop most of this collection. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site behave. If you would prefer we did not use your information for advertising measurement at all, contact us using Section 11 and we will honour it.
7. Marketing Messages
If you ask us for a quote, we will contact you about that request — that is the service you asked for, not marketing.
Separately, we may send you offers or follow-ups. You can stop those at any time: reply STOP to any SMS, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or use our opt-out form. We record your choice and apply it going forward. Opting out of marketing does not stop us contacting you about an order you have placed.
8. Call Recording
Calls to and from our team may be recorded for training, quality assurance and to keep an accurate record of what was agreed about a part.
Where recording requires your consent, you will be told at the start of the call and can object. If you do not wish to be recorded, say so and we will either stop the recording or continue by email. We also use call tracking numbers to understand which advertising produced an enquiry.
9. How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information for as long as we have a reason to, specifically:
- Quote requests that did not become orders — while we are still working on them, and for a period afterwards in case you come back to us.
- Orders — for as long as needed to support warranty claims, returns, refunds, chargebacks and disputes, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Call recordings and correspondence — while relevant to an open request, order or dispute.
- Marketing preferences and opt-outs — indefinitely, because we need a permanent record that you asked us to stop.
When information is no longer needed for any of the above, we delete it. You can also ask us to delete it sooner — see Section 11.
10. How We Protect It
- Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) across the site
- Access controls, so staff only see what their role requires
- Secured servers and firewalls
- Payment card data handled by PCI-compliant processors, not stored by us
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
11. Your Privacy Rights, and How to Use Them
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and how we have used and shared it
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, where we do not need to keep it for a legal, tax or dispute reason
- Stop marketing contact, at any time and for any reason
- Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights
These rights are given by state privacy laws in the United States — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in a growing number of other states — and in Canada by federal and provincial privacy legislation. We apply them to every customer in the US and Canada rather than checking which law covers you.
11.1 How to make a request
Email privacy@liveautoparts.com and tell us what you want us to do. Include enough detail for us to find your records — usually the name, email address and phone number you used, and roughly when you contacted us.
We may need to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not hand your information to someone else or delete records you still need. There is no charge, and we will respond within the time the law that applies to you requires. If we cannot do what you asked, we will tell you why.
An authorised agent may make a request for you; we will ask for proof of their authority.
12. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Other Websites
Our site links to other websites — manufacturer resources, regulators, carrier tracking. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a change that materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
